Well, I got a rejection notice from the Triangle Foundation. I am sad, not just because I wanted the job, but I thought working with an advocacy foundation would be great. I also had come up with a plan to work for the foundation during the week and help with congregations that were in need of a pastoral presence on weekends.
Oh well...

Saying, "Hang in there" feels incredibly trite, so I'm searching for better words of encouragement. You are being true to yourself and to who you know God has called you to be. You will find a place.
Peace,

I hate Rejection Notices...some places are even doing it via e-mail now (really cold). Take care my friend
As one of my best friends and former co-workers used to say, "They're just telling me to go be successful elsewhere."
rejection letters always feel so personal, that is is 'about us' when it is probably about something arbitrary or simple (too many folks and the drew a name out of the hat).
I am sorry for your hurt.
Be thankful you received a notice. The last two interviews I went on will not even return my phone calls or e-mails!
