A Learning Moment

A few moments before this picture was taken, this was a lamp shade. This is the second lamp shade I have made and the first big lampshade. So I am still learning what to do and what not to do. NOT TO DO: Do not place the shade on the table upside-down without support, even though the outside is soldered. Oh well, a few(?) more hours of work.

OH NO!! That just sucks. At least you learned something and I guess that is a good thing.

Sounds like something that I would have to work through...live and learn. :) Thanks for visiting my blog.

As long as you learn!!! by the way...wow...you have skill. I would not know where to even start in making a shade like that!

Too bad about the accident- but it's still obvious that it's going to be beautiful. The white pieces look like dragonfly wings. Is that what they are?

Yep, Doug! That is exactly what it is supposed to be. The bodies will be added after the panels are soldered together.
