Fired
Well, I guess the gods were not with me in my stupid, unthinking, mistake. Even though I did pay for my shirt, I violated policy. And that results in termination. So, I am back looking for a job.
What a bummer. I am sad for you aabout the job loss. And, you are right about the employer/employee imbalance. I pray that Way will open for you (as the Quakers saith). And, I'm glad Nick is coming home!

Wow...termination for a first-time policy violation seems a bit extreme. But I guess it's the management's rules...
