I recently saw an article somewhat related that affirmed (from a "evangelical" perspective) that what this country needed was men who asserted their power over women.
It's a well known "kink" site. Many people in the "consensual adult spanking" scene, like a religious theme - especially "domestic" that smacks (if you pardon the pun) of 1950s family values.
oh if only they would keep their lifestyle to themselves!
Also available: studded leather dog collars with the Christian fish on them. Because all have fallen short...
